        In view of the complaints received by the Executive Office from ACR I-Card applicants regarding the release of ACR I-Card to unauthorized persons/agents, the following requirements must be presented by the claimant before the ACR I-Card can be released, to wit:
  • I.  If claimant is the applicant/owner of the ACR I-Card:
  • A. Original claim stub; and
  • B. Valid passport or any valid I.D. with signature of applicant
  • II. If claimant is a representative of the applicant/owner of the ACR I-Card (including accredited agents):
  • A. Original claim stub duly signed by the owner/applicant of the ACR I-Card (Note: If the applicant/owner of the ACR I-Card is a MINOR the claim stub may be signed by either the parent(s) or guardian of the minor.);
  • B. Valid passport of the applicant/owner of the ACR I-Card (original or photocopy);
  • C.  Duly notarized Authorization Letter or Special Power of Attorney (SPA) executed by the applicant/owner in favor of representative. If applicant/owner of ACR I-Card is a MINOR, the Authorization Letter or SPA may be executed by the parents or guardian;
  • D. Valid proof of representative's identity, i.e. passport, driver's license, BI Accreditation I.D.;
  • E. Parent(s) claiming their child/children's ACR I-Card must present proof of relationship, i.e. birth certificate or similar documents.

Notice to the Public



NOTICE

    The Alien Certificate of Registration - Identity Card (ACR I-Card) evidences lawful sojourn/residence in the Philippines. It serves as a reentry and exit permit in the Philippines. It server as a reentry and exit permit in the Philippines.

    It should be further stressed that the ACR I-Card is indispensable to every foreigner who was issued an immigrant or non-immigrant visa by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

    Any foreigner without his or her ACR I-Card shall be deemed incompleted documented, and penalized for violation of the Alien Registration Act of 1950 and Philippine Immigration Act of 1940.

    Foreigners who have not secured their ACR I-Card from the BI are thus advised to claim them now at the window of the Executive Office, Ground Floor, BI Main Bldg., Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila.
   
   The I-Cards shall be claimed within the next 90 days from the publication of this notice. Failure to claim shall result in the cancellation of the ACR I-Card without prejudice to reapplication for a new I-Card.

   The list of the names of foreigners with unclaimed I-Cards can be accessed from the BI website at www.immigration.gov.ph.
